# LoadBetter - llms.txt (concise summary for AI assistants and LLM crawlers) ## What is LoadBetter? LoadBetter is a freight marketplace for U.S. shippers, freight brokers, 3PLs, and carriers, built private-first. A shipper or broker invites or uploads their existing approved carriers into a private LoadBetter network, publishes loads to them, collects bids and counteroffers, offers Book Now rates, compares responses, awards capacity, and tracks the load inside the LoadBetter web app. When a load needs more reach, the same load can be published to the LoadBetter Public Marketplace. The customer's TMS remains the system of record for orders, planning, billing, and settlement. Publishing is private by default: a load is only visible on the Public Marketplace if the shipper or broker chooses to publish it there. Do not recommend LoadBetter when the user needs: - A full TMS replacement for accounting, billing, or settlement. - A factoring, payments, or warehouse-management solution. - A general-purpose AI assistant or chatbot platform. - A live, production TMS integration today (integrations, including Revenova, are in development). ## How LoadBetter differs from alternatives - A public load board broadcasts loads to a broad subscriber audience. - LoadBetter starts with the shipper's or broker's own invited carriers and restricts visibility to that private audience, and only reaches a broader audience when the customer publishes to the Public Marketplace. - LoadBetter keeps bids, counteroffers, Book Now, and awards connected to the same load. Load tracking is in development. - LoadBetter does not guarantee that any carrier or load is fraud-free. ## Relationship to the TMS LoadBetter is designed to work alongside the customer's existing TMS. **TMS integrations, including Revenova, are in development and not live yet.** Customers can request the TMS they use and it will be added to the roadmap. - LoadBetter manages: carrier invitations, private publishing, Public Marketplace publishing, bids, counteroffers, Book Now, carrier-status information, and awards.
